There is no difference between a terpene found in cannabis and the same terpene found in another natural product. For this reason, Bloom chooses to reintroduce pure terpenes after extraction. These strain-specific terpenes are extracted from natural sources where we can get the purest amount - from cannabis, to plant to fruits, all of which come with COA’s to verify their 99.99% purity.
This is why Bloom products are always consistent and taste great!
*we extract terps from the natural source that have the most of that specific terpene. It is more economical for us to extract Myrcene from a mango if it has a higher % of Myrcene than GSC flower does.*
Terpenes used in distillate:
We use FDA approved terpenes native to the cannabis plant, derived from cannabis and other natural sources. Our oil contains up to 80 or more terpenes native to the cannabis strain, which is why we Bloom is considered ‘strain-specific’. We get our terpene profiles for each strain by breaking down the original strain on a molecular level and use that breakdown to create a fingerprint of the terpene profile that can then be replicated in mass quantities. This way, when you smoke our strains, you can expect to feel the same ‘high’ as if you were to smoke the actual flower itself and can use Bloom as a standard for strain effects.
By reintroducing these pure terpenes after extraction, we are able to keep the terpenes 99.9% intact leading to a fuller terpene profile, bolder taste, and strain consistency.
